Manappuram Foundation has generously supplied 50 beds to the Girls’ Hostel at Chalakudy Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, an establishment overseen by the Central Government for Scheduled Tribe girls in collaboration with the Samagra Shiksha Kerala Project. The welcome address was delivered by Mrs. Briji KB, the Samagra Shiksha Kerala DPO, and the event was presided over by Mrs. Alice Shibu, the Vice Chairperson of the Municipality.
The ceremony took place at BRC Chalakudy KGB Girls Hostel, with Shri. Benny Bahnan, the Member of Parliament for Chalakudy, inaugurating the program. Mr. George D. Das, the CEO of Manappuram Foundation, provided a comprehensive explanation of the project. Greetings were extended by Mrs. Susie Sunil, the Chairperson of the Health Education Standing Committee, Mrs. Elizabeth TD, the ward Counselor of Chalakudy Municipal Council, and Ms. Silpa Tresa Sebastian, the CSR Head at Manappuram Foundation.
