Manappuram Foundation extended its support to Mr. Ramesh Hanamantappa Budihal, the first Indian to win a bronze medal in the Open Men’s event at the Asian Surfing Championships 2025. On 11th February 2026, the Foundation provided assistance to help him procure a competition kit for his participation in the Asian Games 2026.
The support was handed over in the presence of Mr. J. Muhammed Shafi, Secretary, Thiruvananthapuram Development Authority. Mr. Ajay Epan Gopal, Treasurer, Kerala Surfing Association, received the support on behalf of the athlete.
