Manappuram Foundation handed over a new vehicle to Haritha Karmasena OF Valapad Grama Panchayath to facilitate the disposal of garbage in homes. As part Manappuram Foundation’s CSR activities, a vehicle worth Rs 8,45,000 was given to Valapad Grama Panchayat. Manappuram Foundation’s CEO Mr. George De Das handed over the key to Panchayat President Shinitha V D at a function held at the Vattaparathi Beach.
In addition, the construction of the road to Vattapparathi beach has also been completed. As part of expanding the tourism potential of the beach, Manappuram Foundation undertook renovation works worth Rs 30 lakh through a project called ‘Sneharamam’.
As a continuation of the help given to the differently-abled people, the Manappuram Foundation handed over a wheelchair to Ajith, a native of Thannyam Grama panchayat, and financial assistance to Raji, a native of Nattika, who is undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in a car accident. This is the first time since his school days that Ajith is visiting a beach in a wheelchair. A total of four CSR activities have been completed by the Manappuram Foundation.
