In association with the Women Development Committee of Sreekrishna College, Guruvayoor, 200 menstrual cups were generously donated to students from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families. The distribution event took place at the college premises, with Mr. Murali Perunelli, MLA of Guruvayoor Constituency, gracing the occasion in their presence.
Ms. Bindhu Radhakrishnan, President of Edavilangu Grama Panchayath, requested a donation from the Manappuram Foundation. The foundation generously donated 200 menstrual cups to women from the community in Edavilangu Grama Panchayath. The handover was conducted by Ms. Haritha V Kumar, District Collector of Thrissur, in the presence of Mr. Taison Master, MLA of Kaipamangalam Constituency, and Ms. Bindhu Radhakrishnan, President of Kiapamangalam Constituency.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Manappuram Foundation extended a heartwarming gesture by donating 300 menstrual cups to adolescent girls in Division No. 29 of Wadakkancherry Municipality. This noble initiative was inaugurated by Mr. Manjith T, Honorable Sub Judge, and DLSA Secretary, and graced by esteemed guests, including Dr. Josna Raphel, Former Head & Professor of Govt. Engineering College, Thrissur; Dr. Jini Justin, Gynaecologist, and Former IMA Women’s Wing President; and Dr. Joyal Manjila, Municipal Councillor of Wadakkanchery Municipality. This event not only celebrated Women’s Day but also marked a significant step towards empowering young girls and promoting menstrual health.
