On 3rd April 2026, Manappuram Foundation extended support to the Thanal Dialysis Centre, located in Vatakara, Kozhikode, by providing a 250 KVA Diesel Generator.
This initiative aims to ensure an uninterrupted power supply for life-saving dialysis treatments, thereby enhancing the quality and reliability of healthcare services provided to patients, especially those from economically weaker sections. Dialysis centres require consistent electricity to operate critical medical equipment, and this support plays a vital role in improving patient care and safety
The programme was formally inaugurated by Mr. V. P. Nandakumar, Managing Trustee, Manappuram Foundation, in the presence of Mr. Ravi Guptha, District Governor, Lions District 318 E, along with other dignitaries, healthcare professionals, and members of the local community. The event marked a significant step toward strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the region.
