CHIRAG 2026 is a meaningful and impactful initiative by Manappuram Foundation, the CSR arm of the Manappuram Group of Companies, dedicated to supporting the children of migrant labourers.
Launched under the inspiring theme “A Helping Hand Today, A Great Future Tomorrow,” this project focuses on the holistic development of children residing in the coastal panchayats of Thrissur district. The initiative aims to create a positive and lasting impact by strengthening access to education, promoting health awareness, and encouraging social interaction among children.
Through CHIRAG 2026, the Foundation envisions nurturing a generation that is healthier, happier, and better equipped to contribute to an inclusive society.
The first phase of the project marked the distribution of school bags to children of migrant labourers, ensuring they are better prepared and motivated to pursue their education.
The initiative was formally inaugurated at Bhavana Auditorium by Ln. Suresh K. Warrier, First District Vice Governor of Lions Club International District 318 D, in the presence of distinguished guests and well-wishers.
