On 18th February 2026, Manappuram Foundation marked a significant step in its mission to empower young minds through the distribution of study kits to economically disadvantaged students under the initiative “Aksharamuttathu Karuthalaayi 2026.” The programme reflects the Foundation’s enduring commitment to promoting education and nurturing the aspirations of the next generation. By providing essential learning materials, the initiative seeks to remove barriers to education and create opportunities for students to pursue their academic dreams with confidence. The study kits were distributed to students of Government Vocational Higher Secondary School, Thalikulam, as well as beneficiaries associated with Rajeev Gandhi Samskarika Vedi, Nattika. The event was inaugurated by Ms. Sajitha P. I., Development Standing Committee Chairperson of Thrissur District Panchayath, and Mr. P. M. Siddique, Welfare Standing Committee Chairman of Nattika. Grama Panchayath. Both dignitaries highlighted the vital role of educational support in building a more inclusive and progressive society. The initiative was further scaled up to benefit students of St. Sebastian CLP School, Nellikkunnu, Thrissur, St. Aloysius LP School, North Paravoor, and beneficiaries in Kodakara and Athirappilly in Chalakudy. The occasion was honoured by the presence of Mr. Saneesh Kumar Joseph, MLA of Chalakudy Constituency who graced the event as the Chief Guest. Through Aksharamuttathu Karuthalaayi 2026, Manappuram Foundation continues to empower students by fostering knowledge, inspiring ambition, and creating opportunities for a brighter future.
